Connecting Communities to Resources

The Outreach Program raises awareness about vital services, programs, and benefits available to older adults, caregivers, and the broader community. Through events, media engagement, and collaborations with local organizations, we ensure that individuals know where to turn for support.

Services Overview

Many individuals are unaware of the services and support available to them. The Outreach Program proactively connects with older adults and their families, ensuring they have access to information about available programs and benefits. Our outreach specialists work in the community, engaging directly with individuals through educational events, public presentations, and one-on-one interactions.

We collaborate with local organizations, government agencies, and advocacy groups to expand our reach and ensure that underserved populations have equitable access to resources. Through partnerships, we amplify messaging about vital services, ensuring that more people receive the help they need when they need it.

The Outreach Program also supports fraud prevention and consumer protection efforts through the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP), which educates Medicare beneficiaries about how to detect, prevent, and report healthcare fraud, errors, and abuse. SMP information is shared during outreach events, publications, and individualized contacts to help protect older adults from scams and exploitation.

In addition to in-person engagement, we leverage various communication channels, including print materials, social media, and media outreach, to broaden awareness. Our team ensures that accurate and timely information reaches those who need it most, empowering individuals to take proactive steps toward aging with dignity and security.
