Advocating for Dignity and Protection
The Elder Rights & Ombudsman Program safeguards the rights of older adults, advocating for those in long-term care facilities and working to prevent elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. This program ensures that older adults are treated with dignity and respect.
Services Overview
Our Long-Term Care Ombudsman Services provide advocacy and support for individuals residing in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other care settings. Ombudsmen investigate complaints, mediate disputes, and ensure residents’ rights are upheld.
Additionally, our Elder Abuse Prevention Program educates the community about recognizing and preventing elder abuse. We work closely with law enforcement, social service agencies, and healthcare providers to intervene in cases of abuse and neglect.
By championing the rights of older adults, we help ensure they receive the care, respect, and protection they deserve.
