Advisory Council

The Area Advisory Council at Age Central plays a critical role in ensuring that the voices of older adults, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and community members are reflected in the agency’s planning and decision-making. As a diverse, volunteer-led body representing all six counties in our service area, the Council advises Age Central on unmet needs, program development, service priorities, and emerging trends. Council members contribute valuable insight from their lived experiences and community engagement, helping shape a more responsive and equitable aging network. Through regular meetings and public input, the Advisory Council supports Age Central’s mission of promoting independence, dignity, and access to care for all.
